Teams ranked 1st, 2nd and the best 3rd-placed team advance to Main Round Group A (round-robin), while teams ranked 4th, 5th and the lowest-ranked 3rd-placed team advance to Main Round Group B (round-robin). The top two teams in Main Round Group A advance to the A Final, and the top two teams in Main Round Group B advance to the B Final.
